The Location
The state of Campeche occupies the south-western portion of the Yucatan Peninsula, fringing the Gulf of Mexico with hundreds of kilometres of pristine coastline. Here, the landscape transitions dramatically from open beach to dense tropical jungle within metres — a natural phenomenon that forms the very foundation of the Isla Aguada concept.
The site sits at coordinates 18°56′16.5″N, 91°18′24.7″W, accessed via Federal Highway 180, which elegantly divides the north beach zone from the south glamping jungle zone — creating a natural separation between sea-facing and jungle-facing experiences.
